Spring 2025

Welcome to the Pacific Palisades Baseball Association (PPBA) online registration system

Please read the following before proceeding:

1. Registration and Fees

The PPBA board would like every child to have the opportunity to play baseball in our league. However, due to field limitations, time constraints, and players' safety concerns, some players who register may not be placed on a team; also, participation in a previous PPBA season does not guarantee your placement on a team this upcoming season. If your child is not placed on a team, you will be given a full refund minus a $25.00 administration charge.

The age breakdown (age as of 4/30/2025) for the different levels of PPBA Baseball are as follows*:

SHETLAND: 6, 7-year-olds

PINTO: 7, 8, 9 years old

MUSTANG: 9-10 years old*

BRONCO: 11-12 years old*

PONY: 13-14 years old*

*In the interest of player safety, the admission of a player to the league and their selection to a Division is subject to the board's absolute discretion.

The registration fee per player is as follows:

Shetland: $550

Pinto: $650

Mustang: $650

Bronco: $650

Pony: $700

After 12/31/24, a late fee of $50 will be assessed for all new registrations.

The price includes a uniform (jersey and pants), a basic photo package, insurance, field maintenance, umpire costs, and team equipment.

There is a discount for sibling registrations. The discount for a second child is $50.00 and $100.00 for the third.

The registration fee, less a $25 administration fee, will be refunded only if your child is not placed on a team. If your child is placed on a team at the player draft, there will be no refund. (Unless the child withdraws for a legitimate medical reason.) Once teams are formed and practices commence, your registration fee is non-refundable.

2. Family Obligations

This is a community and volunteer-run program. Every family is required to participate throughout the season. Those who are not selected as coaches, team parents, scoreboard operators, or scorekeepers (GameChanger) are expected to help set up and take down fences and clean up trash around the bleachers. Everyone is expected to work a shift at the Bat & Grill when it is your child's team's turn. In addition, volunteers are needed to assist with the Pancake Breakfast on Opening Day. Failure to participate will impact your child's eligibility to play PPBA in future seasons.

3. Playing Requirements

Any player who fails to attend 2/3 of his team's regular-season games for any reason other than injury or illness shall not be considered eligible for the PPBA playoffs or any post-season all-star teams. Exceptions will be considered by the PPBA Commissioner and the PPBA Board on a case-by-case basis.

Players registered to play in PPBA are not prohibited from playing club baseball. However, they shall not play any games for a club team during the PPBA playoffs or miss any regular-season PPBA games to play with their club baseball team. Any player who violates this rule will be deemed ineligible for the PPBA playoffs and post-season all-star teams.
